Sunset Ceramics was born from a love of making things by hand, slowing down, and finding a little beauty in the everyday.
Creating this business has also given me the gift of spending more time with my husband, our little one, and our dog Jax. We get to be together surrounded by love, while I build something meaningful for our family. That time together is at the heart of Sunset Ceramics and makes this little business even more special to me.
Each piece is thoughtfully handmade in small batches, from throwing the clay to shaping, glazing, and firing. Because everything is made by hand, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Little variations, imperfections, and quirks are part of what make each one special.
Inspired by the warmth and character of the desert, Sunset Ceramics is a collection of functional pottery made to be used, enjoyed, and lived with.

Our Story
Sunset Ceramics started with a simple curiosity and a lump of clay.
What began as wanting to learn something new quickly grew into a love for creating. I fell in love with the process of taking a piece of clay and turning it into something beautiful, useful, and completely unique.
Before long, our home became a little pottery studio, and what started as a hobby became something our whole family could be part of. There are clay-covered hands, shelves full of drying pieces, plenty of glaze experiments, and lots of moments where we get to create and learn together.
Eventually, I realized this could become more than something I loved doing. It could become something we built together.
And that’s how Sunset Ceramics came to be. A small family business built around creativity, togetherness, and a love for making things by hand. ♡
